Informativa sulla privacy

Ultimo aggiornamento: 1 novembre 2026

Su quali basi usiamo i tuoi dati

6.1.a): notifiche push.

Decisioni automatiche

Alcune cose avvengono in automatico:

  • Supabase: database, accesso all'account e invio delle notifiche push.

I tuoi diritti

In qualsiasi momento hai diritto a:

  • Accesso: sapere quali dati abbiamo su di te e riceverne una copia;
  • Rettifica: correggere dati inesatti (nome, cognome, telefono, livello e zone puoi modificarli direttamente dal profilo);
  • Cancellazione: eliminare il tuo account e i tuoi dati (dal profilo, o scrivendoci);
  • Limitazione e opposizione al trattamento, nei casi previsti dalla legge;
  • Portabilità: ricevere i tuoi dati in un formato leggibile (per esempio un file CSV o JSON);
  • Revisione umana delle decisioni automatiche descritte sopra;
  • Revoca del consenso in qualsiasi momento (per le notifiche push, disattivandole dal profilo); la revoca non cambia quanto fatto prima;

Privacy notice

Last updated: 1 November 2026

This is a translation of the Italian original. In case of doubt, the Italian version prevails.

Data controller

The data controller is Dennis Costantini, Cavallino-Treporti (VE), Italy, who runs Playmo. For any question about your data or to exercise your rights (see below) you can write to playmo.notifiche@gmail.com. No data protection officer (DPO) has been appointed.

What data we collect and why

  • Account and profile: first name, last name, email, username, phone number, sex, date of birth, playing level, areas of interest and chosen language. They are needed to create your account and let you play with people of a compatible level. The sex is used to be able to organize mixed matches (two men and two women). The date of birth is used to verify the minimum age of 14.
  • What you do in the app: matches you create or take part in, preferred side, messages in match chats, ratings of teammates, reports and support requests.
  • Push notifications (only if you turn them on): a technical identifier of your device or browser, needed to send you notifications.

On what basis we use your data

  • To provide the service you requested (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): account, matches, chats, in-app notifications and service emails (registration confirmation and password reset).
  • For our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe and fair (art. 6(1)(f)): moderation, reports, penalties for no-shows, abuse prevention and ratings that help keep levels fair.
  • With your consent (art. 6(1)(a)): push notifications. You turn them on yourself and can turn them off at any time in your profile, even category by category.

Mandatory and optional data

All the data requested at registration is needed to create the account: without it, Playmo cannot be used. Push notifications and installing the app on your phone are optional.

Where the data comes from

Most of the data is entered by you. Some information about you comes instead from other players (ratings and reports) or is calculated by the app (the level, see "Automated decisions").

Who sees what

Other players see your name, your level and your areas of interest. Phone number and sex are seen only by players you play (or have played) a match with, never publicly. Your date of birth is not seen by any other player, not even your match partners. Ratings are anonymous to other players: nobody knows who voted what.

The administrator (the controller) can see, only for support, moderation and security: profile and contact data (phone, sex, date of birth), matches (including private ones) and their chats, individual ratings with who gave them, reports and support requests.

Automated decisions

Some things happen automatically:

  • Level: after 10 matches played, the level is locked and can be lowered automatically if teammates' ratings indicate it. An increase is only proposed: you confirm it.
  • Penalties and blocks: if two players report that you did not show up to a match, you cannot open new matches until you have played 3 more. If it happens again while the penalty is active, the account is blocked until an administrator unblocks it.

You can ask at any time for a person to review your case: write to us and an administrator can correct the level or unblock the account.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data and we do not use advertising or statistics tools. To make the app work we rely on some technical providers:

  • Supabase: database, account login and sending of push notifications. The database is hosted in the European Union (Paris).
  • Netlify: hosting of the website.
  • Google (Gmail): sending of registration confirmation and password reset emails.
  • jsDelivr: network that delivers a technical library used by the site to your browser; for this reason it sees the IP address of those who visit the site.
  • Browser push services (Google, Apple or Mozilla, depending on your device): only if you turn on push notifications, they receive the technical identifier of the device in order to deliver them to you.

The site's typeface is hosted on the site itself, not on external servers.

Some of these providers are companies, or use infrastructure, outside the European Union (in particular in the United States). For these transfers we rely on the safeguards provided by the GDPR: the EU-US adequacy decision for companies that adhere to the Data Privacy Framework, or standard contractual clauses, according to each provider's contracts.

Browser storage and cookies

The site saves in your browser only the login session (needed to stay logged in), your chosen language, a copy of the pages to load them faster and allow the app to be installed and, so they can be shown even without a connection, a copy of your profile and of the latest matches and notifications you viewed: it stays only on this device and is deleted when you log out. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies: for this reason the site does not show a cookie banner.

How long we keep the data

  • Account data: until you delete the account.
  • Chats and notifications of a match: deleted automatically when the match ends or is cancelled. Chats remain only if the match received a report, to allow moderation.
  • Push notifications: the device identifier remains until you turn notifications off, until it expires or until you delete the account.
  • Ratings, reports, match and level history: kept to maintain the fairness of the system; after the account is deleted they are no longer linked to your name.
  • Support requests: until you delete the account.

If you delete the account from your profile ("Delete account"), the following are deleted right away: login (email and password), phone number, sex, date of birth, areas, groups, notifications and support requests. The profile becomes anonymous ("Deleted user") irreversibly.

Your rights

At any time you have the right to:

  • Access: know what data we have about you and receive a copy;
  • Rectification: correct inaccurate data (you can edit first name, last name, phone, level and areas directly from your profile);
  • Erasure: delete your account and your data (from your profile, or by writing to us);
  • Restriction and objection to processing, in the cases provided by law;
  • Portability: receive your data in a readable format (for example a CSV or JSON file);
  • Human review of the automated decisions described above;
  • Withdrawal of consent at any time (for push notifications, by turning them off in your profile); withdrawal does not change what was done before;
  • Complaint to the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it), if you believe the processing violates the law.

To exercise any of these rights write to playmo.notifiche@gmail.com: we will reply within 30 days.

Minimum age

Playmo requires a minimum age of 14, the age from which Italian law allows people to give consent to the processing of their personal data on their own. If you are under 14, registration must be authorized by whoever holds parental responsibility.

Security

The app uses secure connections (HTTPS) and data access rules, at database level, that prevent a user from reading or changing another user's data outside what is described above.

Changes to this notice

If we update this notice in a substantial way, we will change the date at the top of the page. We recommend checking it from time to time.

Datenschutzerklärung

Zuletzt aktualisiert: 1. November 2026

Dies ist eine Übersetzung des italienischen Originals. Im Zweifelsfall gilt die italienische Fassung.

Verantwortlicher

  • Mit deiner Einwilligung (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a): Push-Benachrichtigungen.

Wer was sieht

Deine Rechte

Du hast jederzeit das Recht auf:

  • Auskunft: zu erfahren, welche Daten wir über dich haben, und eine Kopie zu erhalten;
  • Berichtigung: unrichtige Daten zu korrigieren (Vorname, Nachname, Telefon, Level und Gebiete kannst du direkt in deinem Profil ändern);
  • Löschung: dein Konto und deine Daten zu löschen (in deinem Profil oder per Nachricht an uns);
  • Einschränkung und Widerspruch der Verarbeitung, in den gesetzlich vorgesehenen Fällen;
  • Datenübertragbarkeit: deine Daten in einem lesbaren Format zu erhalten (zum Beispiel als CSV- oder JSON-Datei);
  • Menschliche Überprüfung der oben beschriebenen automatisierten Entscheidungen;
  • Widerruf der Einwilligung jederzeit (bei Push-Benachrichtigungen durch Deaktivieren in deinem Profil); der Widerruf ändert nichts an dem, was zuvor geschehen ist;
